Destination Door County
Leaving our great city of Milwaukee, travel north along the Lake Michigan coast, stop in Cedarburg and visit cute shops, restaurants and the Cedarburg winery. When you get to Port Washington there is a marina and great outdoor restaurants along the water. Now drive the scenic roads up to the Door County peninsula and stop in Baileys Harbor, Fish Creek, Sister Bay, and Ellison Bay. Be sure and get a delicious fish boil for lunch. You can always camp in Peninsula State Park if you bring a tent and see many sailboats in the sparkling water of Lake Michigan. Take time out for a leisurely ferry ride to Washington Island.
